Speeding ticket..

Please ask your lawyer, where in the form USCIS expressly states "Only 5 year" driving offenses to be posted.

The 5 year window is for the USCIS to determine the eligibility based on moral turpitude grounds, but they do want to know "all' violations of the law - both civil and criminal.

Yeah, i was a little confused about that too, but thats what he said. From my understanding he seems like quite a good lawyer. He has helped many people from being deported, and helped countless others get naturalized..but who knows.

I think the confusion comes in during common cases. 5 years as a PR from a work sponsored GC or 3 years based on a marriage to a USC as a PR. The IO will want to know your history since you yourself became a PR.

So if you have been a permanent resident for 10 years, he'll want to know if you've had any offences for that 10 years since that's how long you've been a PR...
