Hello,
After doing my BioScan, I received a letter 5 weeks later with my interview date set for 4 more weeks in the future. Is five weeks a short period of time from BioScan to Interview? Does that mean everything came back with no red flags. I should note that I did not receive a request for additional documents.
Also, when moved here 10 years ago, I had to do a similar process in Canada. I filled out a background question form with very similar questions if I remember correctly. I had to do an interview at a consulate, they took fingerprints and pictures then too. The only thing that seemed different was the medical exam and immunization requirements. Do they perform another background check on me in Canada? Is it the same check as before or do they get more in-depth this time around. Do I need to let friends andfamily back home know they may be contacted about me by immigration?
