Called BCIS yesterday ...the IIO says my case has been sent to 'Special Project'(some kind of external agency?)....
Does anyone know what this is or how long of a delay this thing adds to the wait?
 
Special project means - special attention being given to ur case. which is good, but not terrific.

Anyway, wahts your WAC?
 
02-33 shouldn't be special project yet. Usually they give this BS to wac-01s. Mebbe the IIO wanted to get you off the hook so he just said some BS.
 
3rdrocker, did you get RFE ? Is it past 90 days since BCIS received your RFE response ?
Push your attorney to send a fax enquiry based on this.
I pushed my attorney to send fax enquiry and i guess he did so. I am not very sure too. Anyway
i got my approval after two weeks. Still waiting for the approval letter.

Why not give a try ?
 
3rdrocker, You can send a fax enquiry. 90 days past RFE response is a valid reason.
My attorney said he sent the fax enquiry as per my request. Giving a try doesn't hurt.

I too heard from IIO that my case is in special project. I understand, all cases are in special project ever since they introduced new security checks.

Today my attorney received the approval letters.
AD is 14th April.
