special registration after green card

For special registrant , After getting green card do they still go for departing registration when leaving for a trip outside USA.

How do you get that registration cleared, that one will still show a person on visa from SR country is in US.

Any experience, thoughts.....comments.

No need to register

Also, I read somewhere on this site few months back that you need to inform the officer who is doing your stamping that s/he need to take you off the SR database or something like that.

I'm not sure, but you certainly don't have to go through this after obtaining your approval as you become a permanent residant, and SR is only for non-immigrants.
 
For travelers that are using AP there is nothing to do no fingerprint or photo even for SR counters
