Better if you mail it directly to the accountant, or better still make payment via paypal from the website. Because if your bring it that is exactly the process we will follow (mail it to the accountant).

Its not Starbucks. It is Thursday(04/29) @ 6 PM(?) at Borders in Milpitas (McCarthy Ranch).

I'll be there.

Additional cost is only $0.37 + an envelop.

It is not the cost of the stamp or envelope that may be an issue.

But it is the laziness, that stops some poeple in sending the checks.

Just wanted to encourage some people by volunteering to bring the check to the get together and thought if some one (if required I can) take the responsibility to post the collected checks to the accountant.

I am going to send my contribution to immigrationportal.org anyway.

That's a good point.
I will bring an envelop and a $0.37 stamp so that we can post our checks Thursday evening.
 
Even for me milipitas is quite far.

especially since it is a week day.

Would it be possible to move it somewhere midpoint of SF and San Jose?

Why don't we do this....

Lets have someone volunteer to collect email addresses
and co-ordinate this meeting.

That person will post his yahoo or hotmail email here and
everybody interested in hooking up should just send that
person his email address and name and some basic info.

The volunteer than mails out a single email to the whole
group with directions to the venue and how to get there,
timing etc.

Anybody willing to volunteer?
