SPAM: Nostalgic look at Imm Trackers

There have been several unsung heros on this board over the many years - the common theme is their tireless support of the community in the face of the torturous immigration process from the INS/BCIS/USCIS.

4 stars come to mind from a tracking perspective, CIBA, PCee, Greaty-k and Kashmir

Interesting, these old sites which haven't been updated are still up - makes some interesting reading for those newbies who haven't been on this board that long.

Here is a thread showing the "old" processing times are basically in line with the current ones....things don't change at INS

LOL! :) I guess if you have even seen posts from the first three mentioned, you are a bonafide old timer! :)

PCee's tracker was my first brush with the 485 process, had no clue what RD/ND/WAC/etc. meant, god that was 2 years ago! :(

Makes you nostalgic, sad, depressed at the same time. The only unchanging variable in this entire process has been INS's stupidity and absolute lack of any accountability.

Yes, I've been posting on this board for 3 1/2 years now, tracking my Labour Cert and I 140 (even though my profile says May 2002 - at that time Leila had reset everyones signons - remeber that?)

Too funny, like you I too struggled with ND's RD's etc and now after over 3 1/2 yrs, all of us have been forced to learn all the in's and out's of the immigration legislation. What a process.

But I posted the above just in reflection and admiration of those people that put so much in to help all of us who are at the whims of the USCIS and their system.

It has been a real long ride! I remember the passwords all getting reset, used to post under labor_takes_4ever, had over 300 posts I think, under than name and everything got reset, so changed nicks to this one, and bloody 2500+ posts in the 485 forum.

My labor took 18 months, but thought AOS will be faster :).

I agree though, those stalwarts really put in so much time and effort in maintaining those trackers, it is a shame we don't use them anymore. I did ask PCee to transfer the password etc. for his tracker to me when he got approved, but that never happened.

But hats off to all the main 4 and the host of other people who still contribute inspite their approvals etc.

It's not a SPAM.
One important feature has been lacking at Project Kashmir, but others had (or have).
Today, its prototype was implemented.
