Even a smartest and most learned person would find himeself dumbfolded, if lacking communication skill-set.

Added to that I, personally, find chinease rude and very unetheical. No offense intended.

Don't generalize. I once met an Indian guy who was also
mean and immoral. I would not say "I find Indian
mean and immoral".
No offense intended either.
There is always a wide spectrum.

the flip side of the coin is anyone who has worked for a under $10 million/yr. Indian staffing company will learn the true meaning of unethical business practice and anyone who's ever tried to buy a plane ticket from an indian travel agent will get a crash course in rudeness.

Tasse, ganshm, deputydawg. I'm taking my comments back. Do not mean to spark-up another debate.

I said personal, so you may differ.

From now on, try observing a chinease lady driving a mini-van. I, was saved from a hrorrerandous accident on a freeway, just because that lady wanted to change the lane and there were 5 drivers honking at her and I, still, saw her smiling.

And what do you say to a chinease manager taking (stealing) number of soda-cans (mere $.29) to his home and when caught justifying his intensions to management.

Again, I'm taking my comments back.

srohit, I'm with you about the driving part .. man they are the ultra most discourteous drivers on the road ..

It's because both sides of the brain are used to interpret variations in sounds in Mandarin. Could you imagine Mandarin speaking person driving and speaking on cell at the same time

Let's find ways to unite and not divide.
I have seen stupid Indian, Chinese, American, Australian and other counrty drivers.. so goes with rudeness and every other bad/GOOD traits.

Logic of "If this is true of this person I know, so is for all of that country/race or any other aggregate is sometimes the start of hatred"

We've got other things to worry, as you guys know

Hello, srohit

Srohit,

1) Are you sure it was a Chinese lady? - all people from east Asia look alike.

2) There are bad/stupid/rude/... people all over the world, including MANY, MANY, MANY Indians and Chinese - larger population, more bad/stupid/rude/... people

3) Before you critisize other people, ask yourself - have you ever been stupid/rude/... ? If you are not perfect, don't expect other people to be so. Even worst people in the world have their merits. - yeah, I am not expecting you to be perfect - I forgive you.

4) All people in the world are equal. If you respect your family, please respect other people as well - although they are stupid/rude/... in a different way than your family.

Regards,

Gary

Of course, the British did a good job in India a couple hundred years ago. At least the Indians have learned enough English. The Chinese didn't have such an opportunity.

British did not do a 'good job', I do not even know what
the heck it means to do a good job for a colonial power.
At most they did a 'good job' of dividing and expoliting India and ruled by divide and conqure. Would you also say Japanese
did a good job of trying to colonize China. How many chinese know japanese.

Also when you say "Indians have learned enough English",
I hope you know that only 10% of Indians know English. Rest
of people do not know or care to know English.

-JC.

That's ridiculous, Tasse!!! China surpassed the US in 2001 to become the biggest cell phone country. Now there are more cell phone users in China than in any other country in the world. Many people are using cell phone while driving.

At least my bro-in-law was using cell phone while driving in China all the time. And he speaks mandarin.

Please refrain from these nonsensical comments. One or two do not represent the whole people. No person is perfect. Show your respect for each other.

I agree with ton_ton to delete this thread. Otherwise dispute could arise quickly. We have a common issue here, don't we?
