Congrtulations to all those who got approvals recently.

I got my GC few months back, but I spent lot of time waiting for it and let my life stay in a limbo state. Was not able to make any major decision and went through lot of stressful times. It effected my life a lot. When I look back I felt I shouldn't have let that happen.

If you are waiting for your GC and think that you are also going through some stressful times, please stop and spend some time to think and plan about how to handle this stress. That may help you a lot in the long run. Please note that in the journey of life getting GC is not the destiny (it may look like that at this point of time) but soon after getting it you will realize that it may be a very small and very negligible part of it.

It doesn't matter which technique/path you follow to handle your stress but the most important thing in my openion is "handle it". Even doing some daily physical exercises/activity may go a very long way.

Recently one of my friend told me about "Art of Living" (probably many of you already knew about it), I took few classes on meditation, breathing technique etc. and they are helping me a lot in getting back to my life. If any of you need more info about Art of Living please let me know.

With very best wishes
PCee

Just one question, could you ask this guy with long beard why he puts "Sri Sri" in front of his name? Why not one or three or four... why 2 "sri"? Does he consider himself god or something... he looks like a moron to me.

Goodsaint, my question is: if you are not able to respect different kinds of people than yourself, are you still expecting any respect at your turn?

Well, I respect everybody except people who put "Sri Sri Sri...." in front of their names, do nothing whole life, call themselves god, emotionaly manipulated people and live richly on others money.

Besides, it was just a simple question. I am curious to find out how this thing works.... is it like Manager.... Sr. Manager... VP, Sr.VP... you go up on ladder put more "Sri" in front of your name?

PCee great advice - I know that the GC will come - even though its taking its own sweet time . And I know its not any great shakes. Its just another step in life - There will be other joys other challenges other sorrows to face.

But however so I remind myself of this - Every day I see someone ahead of me in queue getting approved my rage boils over. I guess for many of us its not so much the delay in GC as the unfairness of the system that rankles. But as some sage soul said - life is unfair - deal with it

I agree. From my experience I can say hardly anything changes after getting GC. Yes, it's a big relief and freedom, but your worry won't go away with the departure of I485 phase.

Logon to immigration sites, monitor trends/approvals, gather information, keep yourself ready for any potential RFE (W2/tax retuns, paystubs, utility bills etc). Spend certain and limited amount of time for this. But don't make your life around your I485. Try to enjoy life - do as usual thing - traveling/vacation, looking for better job. Don't miss your life for a plastic card.
I know it's easy to say (because already have one), but that's the fact.

goodsaint, Why don't you something about it? I mean if you think this
guy is guy is a fraud or something then instead just yakking maybe
ring up the cops with some useful tips. No? :)

Just pointing out to you that your handle also reflects certain thing
about you. You call yourself goodsaint. Why not average_saint or
bad_saint? Because you really do injustice to your handle by putting
people down. To you every one is a moron and people who believe
in god are stupid f**cks.

There are many types of people in the world. Some good and some bad.
And there is a very thin line between what is good and what is bad.

Yes all those people might be sick, stupid and morons but maybe some
people on this forum are thinking the same exact thing about you. No?

My experience tells me that people who call themselves good and saints
are usually the moron types. Sainthood is earned. You need three miracles
dude and as far as I am concerned you are not close to even one.

Buts thats just bitchy me. I am a really bad person. And since I dunno much
about you I am sure you are not the moron you come across as.

PCee,
I understand that your intentions were just to help others but you probably did not know that the suggestions that you gave borders on religious/personal beliefs and is likely to evoke passionate discussions. I appreciate your intensions but not the message. You now know that you need to look at such messages from others points of view, before posting, especially in a diverse such as forum as this. Again, just giving a different view point, absolutely no offense intended. Hope you will take it in good spirit.

desi-bartender,

Take it easy dude, you sound neurotic! Maybe this "Art of living" is something you should investigate for your peace of mind. But gotto admire the way you connect the dots, criticizing a particular proponent of a lifestyle was converted into "To you every one is a moron and people who believe in god are stupid f**cks".

Personal attacks are a no no!

goodsaint,

Not that I agree/disagree with you, but I know quite a few people who swear by the Art of Living and very possibly some of them are on this forum. You probably shouldn't be posting strong posts that craps on their beliefs.

PCee,

Do you want me to delete all the posts on this thread that are out of line? Personally I agree with TheLastMile on this issue.

Hey desi-bartender,

I believe in right to speak and say your feelings/views. But, looks like you just want to listen what makes you feel good. You have no respect for the views of others. I never ever personally attack anyone (but doing now because of you...). So, shut your stinking trap and go back kiss the feet of some "sri sri 420" moron. (perhaps he will do a miracle and your 485 will be approved today... )

Damn, no wonder our country is the poorest and backward. We have too many morons.

friendssssssssss pls STOP. Plssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss dont get into any more unwarranted discussion. Comeone guys, OUR good friend PC has started this thread with a good intention and with a good cause and let us maintain it that way. I plead and request not to get into anything else and spoil the decoram of this forum.

There is nothing wrong with the thread. It is properly marked as "SPAM". And, since we live in America, we have right to express ourself even if our views could be repugnant to others.

The problem is when some crackheads come and attack others personally because they don't like the views. They just like to hear what they like (specially if this is about their god called "sri sri 420").

I think Chamunda swami and Ajmeri baba are pretty good... the mintue i gave them my Credit card number they predicted my sorrows will be over very soonn.... :D :D :D

I love Ajmeri Baba. He solved all my problems (except 485 approval) in one minute after I paid him $100 using my MasterCard. He wanted $500 for 485 approval, I didn't pay, hence I am still waiting.

I wonder why he isn't using "Sri Sri..." in front of his name. Good question, will ask him next time I call.

In addition, I heard religious people get GC faster than employment based people. If you want to have stress-free life, be a baba, pastor, rabbi or whatever and convert from EB to religious based.
 :)

that is a technical question....

some people use "sri sri" some use "sir sir".....i think "sri" is already taken so it cannot be trademarked thats why he is using "sri sri".
