like GC is for future employment similarly property tax is for your future house. If you are thinking for GC then start thinking about property tax also.
 
Don't mind the property tax rise if I am getting any benifits from the increased tax! CA ranks 38th in roads out of the 50 states, education is going down. Car taxes are high, local sales tax is high.

Where are we headed? :(
 
Property tax is 2% now. If you buy a house for $250000, the anual property tax is $2500, and monthly it is 2500/12 = $209

I don't think the people of califoornia will accept any more increase on property tax. There will another recall if the tax is increased.
