Southern region passport -H4 Stamping in Delhi

My spouse passport is issued in southern ( Chennai/Hyderabad) region.
I scheduled an appointment for h4 stamping in Delhi consulate since there was no earlier schedule available in Chennai.

Will it be an issue going to Delhi for stamping?

What kinda reason my spouse can/should give or not give for chosing Delhi instead of Chennai?

If either of you are from delhi region its fine But none of you are from delhi consulate region then from the previous post at this forum i've learnt that they have send the person back to chennai consulate both from delhi as well as from calcutta consulate . in both the cases the applicant went for H4 visa and they were originally from chennai region.Both the consulate asked the respective applicant to apply for H4 from chennai.
