I heard the 12-month anecdotes in late 2018.Hi grant2, is 12 months limit the new rule for TN status? I got mine TN at San Ysidro last August for 3 years
If you got 3 years, congratulations. Either what I heard was irregular, or, port policy changed again sometime in 2019.

San Ysidro has limited I-94s to 12 months in the past, regardless of the merits of the application.
I don't know if Otay Mesa would be different, because I believe they have the same Port Director.

I have received TNs from 2 Texas border towns. From my experience, the smaller the POE the better it is. Never been to Del Rio though

Congratulations ! Good to hear feedback about Del rio. If you dont mind can you share the questions they asked ?I had a very pleasant and good experience at southern border when compared to NORTHERN borders(Niagara, Michigan)
