sorry guys it was I 89 today when i called their said i89 in tence i i typed different number please help me what is that actually . should i fax to ins for details:mad:

Anyway, if that is the case, then it might be pretty soon before either you get approved or they ask for more information.


By the way, is this family based GC? or employment based?

Hi Marri:

Don't worry, Your case looks is already approved and is being held in the I-89 hold shelf.

Looks like they are awaiting receipt of the I-89 card. These I-
485 filings are approved cases. These files are held for 120 days.

It is basically for production of plastic card.

Once you get your approval notice, you go to get the I-551 Stamp at assigned center. There you file I-89 and your card production starts. It is this I-89 which is being waited for.

I feel your approval is on way & you should be receiving it sooner.

Do not get tensed, your case is already through.

Is you case Employmnet based or Family based.
