I need urgent help or guidance. My I-765 is pending with the VSC with ND of 1/6/04, since it has been greater than 90 days, yesterday i went to my local INS office in NY to obtain an interim EAD. Here I was told that a RFE was issued and then cannot give me an interim EAD.

The problem is i never received the RFE and local INS would not tell me what the RFE is asking for. In addition when i call customer service they say that they dont see an RFE requested which is consistent with what is on the website. The website just says that it is pending and does not mention and RFE's being issues. MY current EAD expires in 2 weeks and i will lose my job. What can i do?

Is there a number to contact Vermont directly?
Can i visit the vermont service center?
How can i get a copy of the RFE?
Who can help?
Is there a fax number for the Vermont Service Center?

Please help!

Any updates on your end. i am also in same boat and did not receive RFE yet.
Once we reply for RFE can we apply for the interm ead.

What does your online message say? Does it say the RFE has been generated?

Notices get lost usually due to address change. Have your changed your address resently?

You can call INS directly at 1-800-375-5283 to check and discuss all the above issues with them directly. They can also generate a duplicate RFE.

The online message says that it is pending without any mention of an RFE. The 800 customer service is not aware of any RFE's. With the help of my local congressman, i found out that the RFE is related to pictures but the asshole's have still not sent out the RFE but has put a hold on my case.

This is insane, the play with people's lives!
