Some question regarding 2nd FP notice (atlanta office). Please advise

I got my 2nd FP notice yesterday. But my wife has not. My questions are:

1. Since she is derivative applicant does she require 2nd FP? Our first FP was taken together on April1, 2003. Her message changed to "FP received/resumed blah blah blah...." My message never changed.
2. My FP date is on Jan 4, 2005. Can I go early (Atlanta office) if so when is the good time and day
3. Can I take my wife with me even though she does not have notice issued to her? Will Local office be kind enough to take her FP too?
Please advice
4. Should I go eraly by myself and get my FP done instaed of waiting for my wife's notice?

Hi,

U can defintely go early and try. Many of the forum members have done this at different centres. I dont have any experience with Atlanta. Guess other members can post their experience. Take your wife along and take her 485 receipt copy and go do the typical selling act. Talk them into it and u can get her FP done too. Almost all the offices have wednesday and Saturday as open house. Your bigggest hurdle is going to be the security guard at the entrance. Tell them u are going to travel etc etc and again if u do the good selling act u can get past him. Keep us posted.

Early FP done

My FP date was schedule for 01/04/05, I went yesterday for early FP and it took me about 15 minutes to get it done. There were not many people. They did not take my wife's FP since the notice was not issued to her name yet and they could not do it without notice.
Funny thing is that most of the staff at FP office is either Mexican or Oriental. I am wondering if their FP has been done yet :rolleyes:
