some issues after I-485 approval

Dear people,

I want to start a thread addressing a few issues which might be of interest to those that recently got their I-485 approvals.

1) what documents or copies of documents do we need to
request from our lawyer for future purposes (such as GC
card reissuance/renewal, citizenship applications etc.)

2) for those who already had SSN card, it says "not valid for
employment", should we get SSN card reissued without this
disclaimer? Do we need to?

3) also if there are other stamping issues/ passport issues/ GC
plastic card issues please add your feedback here.

After you get passport stamping done, you need to take your passport to SSA office and request for a new card.
