I have accumulated some statistics of I485 filings. The info has been obtained from BCIS site

changing the month and year in the link provides the neccessary info for the corresponding month.
The attached file has the I485 cases filed each month and the pending cases.
This will provide an idea of the pace at which INS is going through the cases (looking at the pending no) v/s new cases filed
