In a sole proprietorship company, are we going to use the income stated in Schedule C only, or can we used the income from 1040 too? I am working for a sole proprietorship company, and the income is not so good in schedule C because my boss used it for deduction. But in the form 1040, it is good.

ALso, is there any strategies that can be used to fix the problem of RFE-ability to pay in a sole proprietorship company? Can we used personal assets of the employer to support Ability to pay in a sole proprietorship company?

Thank you so much for your help.

if the income from the proprietary firm is in the same range of a small/mid size company then it is fine. Most likely USCIS will raise a red flag to make sure your company can indeed pay and not manipulating account books.

Its safer to work for a proper Incorporated compa

What happened is, my boss working for a big company, and he is getting his w2 from that company. His w2 is really big because he is working as a management position (director). But his w2 is put under form 1040, it cannot be put under schedule c. I am working mostly doing the work for the company that he's working for, in addition to some other projects. But the number in schedule c is not so good, because in a sole proprietorship company, people can use operating expense as a deduction for personal tax return.

So can we used the 1040 to help with the RFE ability to pay? I'm sure I will got RFE for ability to pay.

SInce it's sole proprietorship company, can we used his personal assets as asset to company?

Or am i screwed
