Software Quality Assurance with Electronics Engineer background

Hi,
My wife is potentially expecting a job offer from one of the firm for a position of Software Quality Assurance Engineer job.
However, her bachelor degree is in Electronics and Communications Engineering (4 years). she has got 2+ experience previously in Canada.
Just wanted to have your insights for the following.

1. Would you recommend job title engineer on TN letter as she has got engineering degree or Software Quality engineer.
2. Does she gets any issues as her education of training is in different stream (however she has got 5 or 6 subjects with computer science focus in her bachelor degree)
3. Could you share your experiences if anybody got success with similar backgrounds such as different engineering degree with software job.
4. Would recommend for Computer System Analyst.

1. The TN category is Engineering. Then describe the job duties. Internal job titles are not crucial,.
2. software QA is an engineering job, not a computer science job.
