Social Security Tax

I worked in US for 2.5 years on H1B visa before returning to India for good. I am not planning to go back to US again. Is there a way to claim back the social security tax that I have paid through my wages in US?
 
I dont think you will be able to get it. I read somewhere that the Indian Goverment is working with the USA regarding this matter. Otherwise, until you work for 10 years, you wont be able to get the Social Security (i.e. you have filed for unemployment).
I may be wrong as I am not an expert on this matter.
