SOC/OES Code

Hi,
I work as in information security and the SOC/OES code used for my PERM filing is 15-1031. However, on recently checking the BLS website, I found that 11-3021 more closely matches my job description.

My PERM application is being audited since Nov 2007 and has not been approved yet. Could this mismatch create an issue in certification or during later phases?

The SOC/OES code is determined by the State Workforce Agency when the prevailing wage request is submitted. Even our law firm does not always agree with their decision, but ultimately, it is the decision of the SWA to categorize the position based on their requirements. Their decision is the one that counts.
