Checked visa bulletin for Dec and found my EB2 PD finally becomes current. But last time (4 months ago) I checked with INS about my status, it replied that my name check process hasn't been finished.
So can I expect to get my GC approved in Dec, or it will possibly pending for another month or year?

what is your PD and which country are you from?
 
Did you mean the December bulletin or the January one ? If you meant January have the dates been released. Should come out any day now shouldnt it ?
