I was told in my interview that federal law prohibits any amendments to the citizenship oath. I *KNOW* that folks on here had had their oaths amended to work with their chosen religion - what is the section of law that specifically allows for the omission of 'So Help Me God'?
The examiner said that even if I am not Christian, I should have to say SoHelpMeGod because many religions believe in some kind of god...
