Every time I call NSC, they say everything looks good, all checks are cleared, FO is current blah blah..

But still there is no approval for me..I thing is for sure, I shpuld never be palying lotto, as the chances for winning is very slim for me..


Congrats to all those who got their approval..

You are right...Any normal man should be impatient as waiting for 6-8 years or 4 years...endless worries about future...want to buy a home but not sure due to GC availability..want to do business but again GC hurdle...want to switch job EASILY but...attorny needs more and more money out of you...the list is endless...

But now you are all at the tail end of it...so just relax (tough though) and wait for good news...

WHEN YOU CALL IO, MAKE SURE TO ASK THEM THAT IS YOUR CASE IN THAT POOL/STAGING AREA? IF YES, YOUR DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE...IF NOT...DREAMS WILL COME TRUE BUT LATER...
 
Raised request

I have raised a request on may 30 2007 and my LUD changed on 18 and 19 of June.But there is no update on LUD/approval after that.

when I called yesterday, the IO said that my case is in a area with other cases waiting for an IO to review, so this means that CASE IN THAT POOL/STAGING AREA

But still there should be visa number available even if it in the pool. Looking at the small number of visa's 7700 as per the earlier mail ,It looks like they are done for now. Hence you do not see any approvals for today.

Yes. It means that you are in that pool so your chances of APPROVAL are much higher than anyone who has background check pending,not in staging area. So SEAT TIGHT...Good Luck...

(staging area per IO is to basically stamp your application for GOOD!!)
 
IO said that my file is the pool, and I asked if its already assigned to the officer, she said no not at this time..

I dont know when someone will pick my file ??

I'm not sure if my file is in THAT POOL/STAGING AREA or not? Atleast I was told that FBI background/name check is cleared.

Hoping for the best.

Nemo, I am pretty much in the same situation. I called today and they said everything looks good. When I check the website for status, it say my receipt number is not valid. Is there anybody else with that problem?
 
I was in a same situation as of this morning, but this afternoon I received my mail and things changed.

so my suggestion please don't stress out too much, if you feel better contact local senator/congressmen, make sure they are pro-immigration, check their voting record, once you contact them ask them to do service enquire, write to ombudsman, write to first lady.

I am very positive everyone here will get green card, these guys are not following any pattern so don't get depressed if someone ahead of you get their GCs

Also it helps to engage in some other activity, Last few days were really stressfull as dates become current.

Nemo7 and Others who are waiting for green card(with 2002 pd and 2003 RD),

You will definitely receive green card soon. I know your situation and I can understand the stress you are going through. A week back...I was also in the same situation. Be bold and please do not wait for NSC's blessings. If you do not add some fire to make it happen....in NSC things will not move. They will be processing randomly. I know you all know what to do but want to advice all of you guys....as your stress may comedown a little. Here what you need to do:

1. Call NSC and open a service request as your case is current. Also, check with them whether FP,NC reports are fine or not ? Is anything holding....Please request them politely. Please do not show your frustration at any point of time.
2. Please coordinate with your local senators office. They will send email correspondence with them. At the most Senator's office will take one week after sending NSC an email before they check again with NSC. This will help in getting the GC in right time.
3. Please take info pass and request IO to kindly tell you about your case.

I am not an attorney. Please guide yourself.

Be Bold You all will get GC. Good Luck !!

Folks

When you are in staging area, you are chances to get anytime approval are very bright..but if they tell you that background check is done...etc that does not make sense. Make sure to get info that your case is in that staging area..if it is in, relax a bit as good news is around the corner..

So bro...take a chill pill and enjoy

On June 18, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. )

is my turn..This wait is so painful..I'm one of the unlucky ones who
transferred from CSC to NSC... Anybody has any idea when they will look at OCT 2004 cases?
