So confused about consular processing HELP!

I am a US Citizen and I want to apply for a green card for my parents in South Africa. My question is:
1. Can I apply for them from the US where I live? According to the US Consulate in South Africa I have to be physically present in South Africa to apply for them. It is impossible for me to go back to South Africa at the moment due to work. I thought I could do CP from here?
2. Do I, as a petitioner have to file a G325 form for MYSELF and my parents or just my parents fill in the G325?

1. Well, if you are in South Africa you can start the process there, they will receive the I-130. But if you are in the US, you must send the application within the US. Since they are going through Consular Processing you must go to www.uscis.gov to know where you must file.
2. Both most file G-325a. But I think that is part when your parents go through AOS and that is within the US (if they are in the US), since they are in South Africa, then they will go to through Consular Processing.

Good luck,
