Small Claim Civil Case

Hallo everyone,

I was sued by a client in a small claim civil court four years back. I got them settled through mediation at the court and I have also paid the money that we agreed upon during the mediation ($400). I have receipt from the court as well as proof of deposited check of my payment.

I have not mentioned the above in my N-400 application since it was a civil case. Does it going to affect my Good Moral character?

Do I have to mention this during the time of interview (as an offense)?

You do not have to mention this on your N-400 or during the interview. This was a civil lawsuit and has no bearing on your moral character. In other words, this will have no effect on your application.
