I have been scouring the INS offices around the country and have noticed that Texas is substantially behind the rest in their processing times. My wife's I-130 was received April 18, 2002 and we were told that the appx. time was 500-600 days. Now it is 900-999. What is the deal? Every other INS office is past that time. If this time frame is correct, then we will have to get an extension for her I-129 visa. This is ridiculous! What is the holdup?
