slow AP approval at CSC lately

Seems like during last one month, there is not much activity on AP cases in CSC. Anybody knows why?

They are very busy with cleaning backlog of EAD.

If I call National Customer Service Center to make an inquiry of my AP case, will that slow down my case?

No it wont slow down your case, but you will get the same answer that you get from the online status link.

I used to think that there would be one set of officers looking into one department. Now I think that the same few officers, have to rotate their time between EAD, AP and I485. Thats what the trend says. Who knows may the same guys are doing H1 Bs and LC too.
Depressing.
