Six Months After the RECEIPT DATE or NOTIFICATION DATE for change of employeer

I need your advice on the following issue under the
new/current immigration law.

 1. Once the I-485 is filed can the employee change his employer and seek another very simmilar job 6months after the Receipt of I-485.

 2. If so Is it 6 months after the RECEIPT DATE or NOTIFICATION DATE.

One can change jobs after 180 days from the reciept date and not notice date.
