Hi there guys,
here is my situation. I am seeking help from anyone with any professional advice regarding my case.
The situation is that my grandpa filled a petition for my mom in January 1999. At that time i was under the age of 21 and currently i am 24 yrs old. Now the situation is that my mom got her greencard through my dad last year. However, we still haven't informed USCIS regarding the termination of our grandpa's petition. So, the question is.....Is it automatically considered terminated once my mom obtained the greencard and if it isn't considered termination, then IS it possible for me to obtain greencard throught that petition as i am still secondary beneficiary of that petition.
I know i am over the age of 21 so i am automatically out of the petition as an immediate child, but would the CHILD ACT implemented in 2000 by Mr. Bush apply to my case here.
I guess my bottom line question is. Am i eligible for the permanent residency under that case....
Anyone advice will be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
M
