Single Entry Visa for Canada

Hello,
I have a Single Entry visitor visa for Canada which is valid till october.
I visited canada by car from detroit for tourism in april.
They officer at the border out a line across the visa and circled the single entry.
I would be making another trip sometime in september. I would be travelling from Detroit, MI.
Would my visa be valid for that trip too? Or do I need to get another visa now?
I have a valid H1-B visa and I am currently employed in Michigan.

You need another visa since it was a SINGLE ENTRY VISA.

This is INCORRECT. You do not need another visa, you are okay to use the same visa for US-Canada travel in Sept, even if it is single entry visa but valid till October.

Single entry visa to canada(Second visit)

Hi Gurminder, were you able to enter Canada on the same visa or you had to get another visa stamp for your second visit?

according to the site, given by bigboy, it is possible to use same visa to enter Canada so you can still go there..so were you able to enter Canada using the same visa?
