single check for 485+EAD+AP, any problems? anyone else on same boat but successful?

Hi

My attorney filed 485 + EAD + AP for me and my wife on Aug 6th.

We sent 2 checks for $745 for each of us.

I see threads where people say money for their EAD and AP were cashed in their banks.

In my case, how can USCIS cash money only for EAD and AP when check includes money for 485 as well.

Is there anyone (who filed after Jul 17 2007) who did what I did (single check), still their checks where cashed and/ or receipts were issued?

My checks have not been cashed and havent received receipt.

My lawyer submitted single check for all I-485, I-131 and 1-765 for me. Today I got two receipt notices (I-485 and I-131). May be wait for couple more days.

I am in the same boat

I also have sent a single check for all the applicants (mysels, spouse, son) for I485, EAD and AP. I hope there are no problems. My application went out on August 3rd. I have not heard anything from my lawyer yet.
 
I write a single check to Dept of homeland security, and they already cashed my check. My attorney asked me to write just 1 check on I-485 & AP together. No problem.
By the way, I think you still need to wait a bit to get receipts from USCIS since they only process files up to 7/29/2007. :)

Thanks Beck, I know I need to wait but just wanted to ensure that there is no mistake that I have done.
 
My single check got cashed

Here's an update:

I just now foudn from my bank account that my single check (personal) for 131+765+485 was cashed.

I found all the 3 receipt numbers behind the check, they were valid numbers as per the online case status check.

same with my wife's check.
