Singapore Transit Visa. Travelling on AP

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has any feedback on getting the 24-hour transit visa to go out of the Singapore airport, while travelling on AP. I have an expired H1B Visa Stamp on my passport, but valid H1B approval notice, also have my EAD card and the Advance parole document. I have a layover - both flying to India and coming back to US - for about 10 hours. I would like to go out of the airport. Just wondering if you have any exeriences regarding getting the transit visa.
