Anyone with experience with the Singapore Police Certificate

- how long did it take to get?
- did you try to initiate process prior to getting Pkt3 from NVC?

I recently had my I-140 approved but am waiting for NVC to respond. Is there no way to speed Singapore Police certificate? I have heard rumors that it takes 1-2 months to get one.

Took 3-4 weeks

Hi,
I just got my PC from Sg. It took me about 1 month to get it.
All I did was to send the following
1.CNCC(certificate of non criminal conviction) Form,
2.Cheque in Singapore dollars
3.Finger printing -- I got this card from the local INS office and got the finger printing from a local police station.
  INS office in our area was with the DMV builing .
4. Copy of ur passpost pages to prove that u were in Sg.

Did you have to show them proof that the CNCC was req\'d (so the letter from Packet 3) or did you do it well before that...

How did you got the cheque in Singapore dollars?I am confused as the banks don\'t understand the meaning of draft.You immediate reply will be highly appreciated

SJ keep posting your updates about the CNCC.
I posted the docs to CNCC on 21AUG. I didn\'t get any response, so far. I will keep you posted too.
 
Singapore CID contact number

Can some Guru advice me on the current contact number of CID,Singapore as no one responds at the contact number given on immihelp .I sent my papers through fedex which were received by them on the Oct3rd,2001.

Received CNCC from Singapore today

Sent application on-09/28/01
Received by Singapore CID through Fedex on 10/03/01
Received CNCC from Singapore through Post-10/20/01
Pretty cool as usual in Singapore.

Do we need to get the Police Certificate in Sealed envelope addressed to respective authorities or we can open it ?

I Mailed my CNNC form on 9/22 and CID Dept Mailed my PC on 10/12 I have not recieved it yet, What kind of mail they sent in, in fact I sent them a draft of 30$ for mailing charges.

I need to get police certificate from Bahrain since i stayed there for more than 6 months. One of the requirements for obtaining PC from Bahrain is to send finger prints from the local police and send it. There are no forms available for this. We contacted the bahrain embassy in the US and they do not have a specific form for this. Police dept says that we need to get a form the requesting authority. Pls help out... Where can i get a form for finger printing done ? Or is ti sufficient to get it on an application typed by us on normal paper ?/

CNCC from Singapore

Hi,

I need to get CNCC from Singapore for my CP. I haven\'t received my packet 3 yet, but one of the requirements for CNCC is the "proof that resp. immigration authority *needs* this CNCC". Does anyone one know what should be sent for that? Thanks..
