Sinature Confirmation related to N-400 application

I mailed my N-400 application to Mesquite PO Box in TX via priority mail asking for signature confirmation.
It has been more than a week and the status shown at usps.com is:
"We attempted to deliver your item at 1:01 pm on March 9, 2006 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender "

did I do something wrong asking for signatue confirmation ?

There is nothing wrong with asking for signatue confirmation. Just that it may delay the application delivery by a day or two. I did the same (to Mesquite, TX) and it was picked up after 3 days, I think. If you ask for signature USPS leaves a note and somebody will have to pick it up.

i mailed my n400 to CA address and I do not recall it was delayed at all.
I mailed on March 8th, and they received on March 9th, and my PD was on March 9th. However, USPS could not post the signature confirmation info until 4-5 days later.
