If I have filed 485 ,in the mean time, can my wife start GC process from LC & 140 thru\' her company ? Just in case mine has some problem with my job, can we file her 485 after that, by putting a hold on mine.
She can do her LC and I140 while she is on your I485. If you all get your GCs by the time her I140 is approved, you don\'t need to file her I485 again. If you don\'t get your GC by then, you can wait until your GC gets through. If anything happens to your job in the mean time, Both can apply for I485 on her I140. At this time you may have to revoke the previous application. Hope everyhting works out better for you.
