Simultaneous immigrant visas

My wife is a Legal Permanent Resident in the U.S. She filed the I-130 to bring her unmarried daughter under 21 years of age to the U.S. about 6 months ago. Now, my wife's daughter wants to come to the U.S. on an immigrant work visa.

#1. Is it possible for my wife's daughter to have these 2 pending immigrant visas at the same time?

#2. If this is possible, will either pending visa affect the approval of the other visa?

Are you saying that I-130 was filed 6 months ago as unmarried daughter under 21 year old and immigrant visa is already pending ? I guess you are confused with immigrant visa and immigrant petition(I-130).

Anyway, I don't know what immigrant work visa is, but if you ara talking about non-immigrant visa, only H1 and L1 work, and other "work" visa such as J will be most probably rejected.

Considering her age(under 21), it seems pretty difficult.
H1 is impossible unless she is very smart and graduated college at younger age. L1 is intra-company transfer so that she has to have at least 1 year work experience at the company which sends her to the US.

J visa(it's not "work" visa, though) is popular for young people, but it is not allowed immigration intent. When she filled DS-156, she must disclose that I-130 has been filed which leads to the denial of J visa.
