Simple question: When to send DSP-122 & DS-230 to KCC after selection?

Hello everyone and congrats for the lucky ones!!!

I just wanted to know, once finding out we're selected for the DV-2014 program, should we print and send the documents to KCC right away or should we wait to receive a (postal) mail with the instructions on how to proceed?
If so, how long should we wait to receive it?

They don't send postal mails anymore. Fill the forms, get your photographs, and send them as soon as possible to KCC.

The answer is ASAP within 7-10 days. Check the forms 50 times before sending them and make sure the information in your passport matches what you put on your forms and all the educational information and all the other stuff is concise.

Use a registered courier service like DHL or UPS.

Like Momo1980 said, you should check everything before sending them to KCC. You can afford to delay for a week so that you can check all the information, then you can send the forms to KCC. It happened with me, I had made some mistakes in the forms, which I had to correct through email then. So, a couple of thorough checks of documents won't hurt!!!
 
If you are doing AOS, do not send DS-230 at all. Otherwise with your number AS 4xxx it does not really matter. Just no later than beginning of July 2014 - that is important.
 
I didn't send my forms until September, depends on if you feel completely confident and comfortable with your forms. I can't stress much more how important it is to check the details you fill in the forms and following instructions. If in doubt find a person that you trust to check the information and double check the instructions.
