Hello, i know i been a big headache, lol

Well here is the question.

What is the difference Between "Family Name" "Last Name" "and Maiden Name" The reason i am asking this question because I have noticed when i filed my I-485 on Part 3 Processing information it says.. B. List your present husband/wife.... and then Family name. now on form G-325A different than I-485, It says .. husbandor or wife.... Family name (for wife, give maiden name)And when i filed my N-400 it says, Last name for wife??? i got confused with all this names lol.. Last name Maiden name and family name.. the reason i am asking this because when i filed for my green card i put my wife's family name .. which is different than her last name.. i hope i will be ok???

Thanks alot.

Family name is the name obtained through legality(ie marriage), whereas maiden name is wife's original birth last name.
In other instances, last name is the current last name wife uses since some use maiden name as middle name and family name as last name after marriage, whereas others maintain maiden name as last name after marriage.
