Signing photos at N-400 interview

Hi guys,
When i had my interview at Memphis, tennessee, everything went well, but the interviewer never asked me to sign my photos like most of you guys say?!! Is there something wrong, or is it a negligible thing?

I had my interview at Memphis on 5th of Jan. The officer said the pictures I have submitted with my application are no good as they are old style. So I have to get new one done and sent it her before certain date. I asked her if I can get it done rightthere and submit it and she said thats fine. So I got my picture taken at 4th floor and sign them in front of her and gave it her. I am just letting you my experience know. You can check my interview experience in Memphis time line thread.

Were you asked to print your name (like writing full name) on the back of the photos or were asked for a signature?

My full name. They will ask you to Print your full name at 2-3 places.

I was asked to print my name on the front of my picture using an ugly ink-pen. I know not how my certificate will look like with that type of ink all over my picture?
