We received our plastic cards in the past week and i guess it is time to say 'Good Bye'.

I became a member of this forum during May 2002 under the ID 'paragh', but somehow couldn't login with this id after
this forum improved and moved to a better place. Then, i created the id 'roran'. I am very grateful to all the people who contributed their valuable advises for all my queries, though i feel i didn't contribute much. Lately, i haven't been contributing anything, even TGIF, and realised it is time to sign off.
My details are as follows( if anybody needs)

Priority Dt: Nov 2 2000.
Applied 140: Jan 12 2001.
485 RD: Sep 24 2001
FP: May 02 2002
Changed job :July 2002
Employment RFE issued: Nov 18 2002
Approved : March 11 2003.

It took a total of 2 1/2 years from labor. I am glad it is over. I am sure everybody will get their GC's ultimately, but keep the sense of humor alive.
Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

Good Bye !!

awwwww

Well thats pretty sad my dear friend!

:(

But I am glad you are done with the process and have better things to do :)

Farewell!!

Job Change

Hi Roran,
Could you help the forum members by giving some details about
your Job Change using AC21 act. Can you share the letter that
your lawyer sent to INS about your new job (saying that it is similar to the old job). Is your new employers salary same as the salary in LC ? Usually the LC states the salary in terms of hourly rate. Can you disclose what salary is mentioned in your LCand what salary is mentioned by the new employer while replying to the RFE?

My LC says that my employer will pay me at the rate of$40/hr. I don't know what will happen if i change job for 70K/yr becuase it wors out to $35/hr. Do you think BCIS will accept my argument that the 70k/yr is excluding the bonus and other benefits and if we include them it comes to around $40/hr ?

Any inputs from you on this matter will help a lot of people here
because you are the living and most recent example of a person who had got GC after changing Job and getting Employment RFE.

Thanks,
Satish.

Au Revoir

Today is a sad day for me and old timers here - but I guess thats the way it has to be. I am sure she has better things to do with her life and family then sitting here and chatting with us. TGIF will never be the same without you Roran.

We will surely miss you like we miss AG( you knew I was going to say that did not you).

For me - I am too addicted to get out of here.
Take care friend.

PS. For Satish - you probably did not notice she is signing off ....
