Signifance of CATEGORY on Green Card.

Hello,

I had a simple question. What is the significance of having Category on Permanent Resident Card?. does it has any signifance to next employer or INS in any category?.

How does it matter to a new employer , if changing a job and category is E11 or E21?.

If a person has got GC under E11 - Multinational Executive deputed to US or Outstanding Skills or NIW , does it mean the person can never leave a job or take up a new job outside the scope?.

I don\'t think ...

... it has got any relevance as far as what your future job is
going to be. It\'s just to identify you as:

a. Family based or employment based
b. Dependent or individual

For example: E21 means EB2 beneficiary
                    E22 means EB2 dependent
                    E11 means EB1 beneficiary
                    E12 means EB1 dependent
