Signature Problem in Naturalization Certificate

I just received my Naturalization Cert. today and found out that my signature on the photo only includes my first and last name, and it's so casual that the letters are unrecognisable. I requested a name change at the interview and now my middle name is included and printed out on my Naturalization Cert. How should I sign my Naturalization Cert.? (In new full name, or a "recognisable" version of my signature on the photo, or the casual signature on the photo?) Please advise. Thanks!

You sign the certificate exactly as the signature near the photo . If it is full name in cursive then do the same . If it like we sign credit card or DL then do the same short form of your signature .

USCIS IOs give inconsistent advice regarding how to sign the naturalization certificate. Some of them say to sign it exactly as one signed the photo. However, the practical experience shows that the State Department employees who issue passports do not really care how exactly the NC is signed and there were no instances reported in this forum where the signature issue caused any problems with passport issuance.
So I agree with what Bobsmyth says: sign the NC in the same way as you currently sign any other legal document, and you'll be fine.

I passed my interview and signed a form, the IO never had me sign the photo. Do you think I will be ok, I am waiting for the oath letter, could they just have me sign when I go for the oath.

They usually takes you photo and singature you did when you went for finder printing . Mine is the same case . Same photo taken at finger printing and same signaure

In general. I would say to sign it as you signed the photo. Nothing says that you cannot change your signature after the fact. For example, I use a signature for every day document signing that doesn't look anything like what I had to do on the naturalization certificate. However, if you sign in a different way from the photo it is likely like some people have said that you won't have any issue. If you do have an issue or this is something that bothers you a lot, you can always apply for a replacement certificate and have it done your way, with your current name and all. I think it is form N-565 if you'd like to do that.

In my case, I printed my name in caps on my photo, signed my Nat Cert with my full cursive name and applied for my passport signing it using my usual signature (which is not full cursive). I had no issues on any front having three different styles of my name represented. I remember being a little concerned about it at the time but hey, I'd like to see someone tell you that you're not a citizen because you signed your name differently.

I signed the photo with block letters and did the same for a signature in NC. However, I signed the DS-11 with my usual illegible scribble and still got my passport without any problem.
