There are conflicting views about whether it\'s required or not. I\'m including it with my application just to be on the safer side. I\'ve heard cases where signature cards have not been accepted due to smudgy index fingerprints. So, I want to get it done professionally :). My local Police station has refused to help with fingerprinting and has redirected me to the local INS office which is quite far and would require me to take at least 1/2 a day off from work. Does anyone know of any other places I can get good fingerprints? I live in metro Boston area.

Do it at local office

I think you should do it at Boston local office. After Sep 11, they require you to be there in person to get the sig. card done. You will sign the card and do the FP in front of the them. You can not get the card for anybody else. They open from 7am - 3pm. You can get there around 7am and it only take 2 min. No need to wait.
