Side business (dealership) while on Green card

Hello and greetings to all,

I am a green card holder and have a full time job. A company in India has approached me asking if I could help them sell thier software products by becoming their dealer on the east coast.

I want to clarify and make sure whether there are any legal implications in becoming a dealer and doing this as a part-time business.

Any catches/twists that I may be missing plus your advise and suggestions. Thanks in advance for your time and help.
 
Thanks for the reply JoeF...Appologize for not being clear, I did mean if there are any legal implications with respect to my GC...Is there any time window that a person has to wait to begin a business after getting the GC...Its only been a lil over 6 months since I got my GC, after a long battle with lawyer screw ups, employer harrasments and RFE's...so just checking...
