About week ago I send out the I-485 (derivative) form to INS, now I wana apply for EAD, should I wait for the I-485 receipt
or just send the form I-765
 
wait for receipt

Sometimes the 485 receipt has a different A# and A# is critical to EAD. So better to wait for receipt.
