Should I wait for the AAO's decision on my L1-B or should I re-file?

My L1-B petition got denied by Nov 2008. We filed an appeal by Dec 2008. The USCIS had moved the case to AAO by Feb 2009 and there upon we have been waiting endlessly.

When we inquired the AAO on case status, they said that the appeal process will take about 6 to 8 months for a I-129.

Now, should I wait for another 6 months or should I withdraw the appeal and re-file?

If you made mistake in the first L1-B petition, and you have new evidence to overcome it, then you can consider a simple refiling.
