Should I send My Passport for stamping

I have my H1 valid till September 2005.
I filed for EAD and Advance Parole on December 5.
On Novemer 31 my previous Visa expired.
I want to mail my Passport for stamping.
What should I do in case I am called for finger printing second time and I do not have passport.
Currently because of unimaginable delays in AP travel is unplannable , hence I need the stamping.

Dear Pareshv75,

I guess u dont have any option other than to send ur passport for stamping.Atleast in that way you will be on the safe side from 1 point.

But I do not want to jeopardize my I 485 which is reached to second FP stage.
I just wanted to know that suppose my passport does not come back till the second FP, does that affect my GC process.
Or I can request INS later dates.

As far as I know, you don't need your passport for FP. You just need to show them an ID which can be your driver's licence. Take a photo copy of your passport with you just in case
 
don't worry From FP point of view as u don't need PP there. ur DL will be enough.

Ofcourse if there's anything else on your mind then its different.
