Should I file PERM?

Hi Everyone

Thanks for the Greatest forum. My LC was filed non-RIR from NY August 2003.
No 45 day letter nothing now and I fall into the other country catagory.

My company is willing to do PERM but they will completely wipe out my old application and file new. I will loose my filing date and it will be around May 2006. I need you guys serious opinion here. Should I stick to old application or
file new applicaton. The date for EB3 other countries is April 2001. SO
I will be in May 2006.

Please suggest which way I should go. Help will be highly appreciated.

Non RIR takes a long time to get approved .. and u are at risk when U need to advertise and U get lots of applications ...

I guess U are better reapplying under PERM... there is no need to wipe out Ur old application...

If U are lucky U can have approved 140 in few months...

Worldwide 485 U should not care all that much... as it will do better than china , india etc.

hello

if attorney agrees i think i should convert the old case into perm. It will be faster than the old traditional case anyway and also my PD will e retained.

any thoughts ?
