Company A filed by GC and since aug-15 I switched and I am working for Company B.
EB3 Category.

Last week I got a RFE for my 485 case- asking me to redo the medical examination. Which I believe is a simple RFE and nothing to worry about.
Question is - SHOULD I APPLY FOR AC-21 AT THIS STAGE OF MY GC PROCESS.

And down the lane when I will be called for stamping my passport (after 485 approval) will they ask for latest paystub or any other info regaring my previous company A.

Please suggest.

Thnx Ginnu for the reply.

Following question - then can I file AC-21 after my 485 is approved ?
Reason for this question - if I file AC-21 now, then my case would be sent to the local office and would be further delayed ..

Please advice ..

------------AC21 can be invoked BEFORE I-485 gets approved
Reason for this question - if I file AC-21 now, then my case would be sent to the local office and would be further delayed ..
-----------who told you that if you invoke AC21 file will be trasfred to local office??? use of AC21 or change of address does not trigger trasfer of file to local office
Please advice ..

This is what I read in - http://www.immigration-law.com

Third, you should not do anything that can trigger transfer of EB-3 I-485 applications to the local district offices for interview or issuance of RFE. Once the cases are transferred to the local offices, the cases are subject to the local offices processing queue and decisions can be delayed substantially. Same will be true with the RFE. Those who have changed employers using AC 21 180-rule may want to assess the advantages and disadvantages of proactively reporting their employment changes with the help of their legal counsels.
