Hi, gurus,

I am about to file 130+485+131 for my wife to local Dallas District Office based on citizen spouse.

Should I file 693 (medical exam) along with 130+485+131 in Dallas?

How soon is 693 needed after filing 130+485+131 in Dallas? It is required at interview time or required far before interview?

If I file 693 with 485, do you think 693 will expire after one year and I need a new 693 again?

The medical is required at the time of interview. Do you know how long your local office takes for fixing the interview.

If it is more than a year, then do not mail in your medical, since it is valid only for a year.

I got my medical done only when I got a letter from INS with my date of interview and I did not get into any trouble.
